The Body Shop
We took the chassis to Lorne Cook so he could make the cut outs for the new injector, headers and roof hatch. He has the body work just about all done. It is looking good. Cook has a stall at Randy's Auto Body & Paint.
The Finish Line Is In Sight
As you can see from pics the car is just about done (except for the body). We made mock up for zoomies they should be done in a couple of weeks.
Had it running just for a short spell and it sounds good. We still need to put some finishing touches on a few things then go over all the nuts and bolts and that should about do it, except for body.
We are going to take the chassis to Lorne Cook on 6/28/08, so he can make cut outs for new injector and the new zoomie headers. After that, he can go ahead and paint it.
I am going to paint it Candy Red instead of black and hope to have body back in 4-5 weeks.
Its been a long haul but I think its going to look Awesome.
I'll try to post an update on Blog first of week.
I'll keep you posted on body progress.
It's been awhile, I ran into some things I was not counting on. You think you have it all figured out, but it never works out that way. I know I should know that by now, but we will continue to make progress (slowly). I'll try to update the Blog and explain the hang ups.
The Turn Around Continues. We are making progress and it looks like there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Starting to look like a race car again.
The Turn Around Begins!!! OK Race Fans, it's time to start putting this Ride back together. Steve Plueger and his right hand man Junior hard at work, making chassis upgrades.
Loaded and ready for a trip to the Paint Shop. Our Friend Lorne Cook will be applying the paint.
A Resurrection? Maybe.
